Class - Intro to Mosaic Knitting

Mosaic knitting patterns are created using two colors and slipped stitches.

Each color is knit without stranding the second color.

Instead of stranding, the contrasting color stitch is slipped to create
the pattern.

Prerequisites: The student must be able to cast on, knit, purl, bind off.
Skills Taught: Mosaic knitting.
Dates: Class will meet for one, three hour session

Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 9 am - noon
or
Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 9 am - noon.

Cost: $40.00
Materials: To be purchased at GarenHuis Yarn Studio.

  • Chunky weight yarn, 120 yards each of a main and contrasting color.
  • US 10, 32 inch circular
  • Stitch marker.

Class Size: Minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 8.
