This class will introduce the knitter to the two color brioche technique using Classic Elite’s Technicolor Scarf pattern. Brioche is a type of ribbing that creates a squishy and warm two-sided fabric.
Prerequisites: The student must be able to cast on, knit, purl, bind off as well as be comfortable working slip stitches, yarn overs and decreases.
Skills Taught: Two color brioche technique.
Dates: Thursday, November 11, 18 & December 2 from 1 - 3 pm
Saturday, November 13, 20 & December 4 from 10 - noon.
Materials: To be purchased at GarenHuis Yarn Studio.
- Technicolor scarf pattern.
- Worsted weight yarn, 240 yards of a main color and a contrast color. One should be a solid the other can be a multi, be sure the two yarns are high contrast.
- US 7 circular 29 inch or longer needle
- Removable stitch marker
Class Size: Minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 8.
