Corriedale is a mid-micron sheep hitting between 22-34 microns. This DK/light worsted yarn is great for outdoor garments to stay warm on a damp day. Koigu has hand dyed light color for a unique looking yarn.

Corriedale sheep are one of the oldest crossbred sheep, originating from New Zealand. It was originally crossed in the 1860’s with Merino which gives it is long wool length and softness and an English Lincoln. Corriedale are a large sheep, which tolerates many landscapes, and can now be found globally.
This yarn is similar in style to Koigu Origins Corriedale + Gotland yarn and they could be used together.
