About Us

My name is Aubrey and I have purchased GarenHuis Yarn Studio! I worked there years ago and could not bear the thought of it closing and not having a local yarn shop.

The new location is 209 E. Main Ave in Zeeland. I am working hard on opening as soon as possible and am very excited to have this opportunity to continue GarenHuis as well as maintain and create new relationships with all the knitters and crocheters in the area.

For those of you who don’t know me, I have been knitting and crocheting for over half my life and enjoy both equally. I love crafting and creating. I also love books!

I attended Hope College and have two children, one is 14 and the other 8. My husband is originally from Grand Rapids and we live in Zeeland. We adore all West Michigan and the Holland/Zeeland area has to offer and cannot imagine a better place to make our home.
